AI and IoT potential workshop for Exner's high-quality process valves

Challenge

Exner Process Equipment GmbH recognized the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) but faced challenges in identifying meaningful and profitable applications for these technologies in its industrial processes.

The workshop aimed to equip Exner with essential knowledge and collaboratively develop concrete use cases, enabling data-driven decisions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of their high-quality process valves.

During the workshop, we collaborated to develop three specific AI use cases tailored for Exner. One of these use cases was explored in detail, providing Exner with a clear and low-risk roadmap for initial investment decisions. This approach established a solid foundation for data-driven optimizations, aimed at enhancing the long-term efficiency and reliability of their valves.

One of the identified AI use cases was selected for detailed planning in collaboration with key decision-makers. This structured approach facilitated low-risk, incremental investment decisions, paving the way for effective implementation.
